A large lottery jackpot has been won in Canada.

The $5 million Lotto 6/49 classic jackpot was split between two tickets in Wednesday’s draw.

The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation told INsauga.com that one of the tickets was sold in in the Parry Sound area in Ontario and the other was sold in Quebec.

The $1 million prize in the gold ball draw was also won by a ticket sold in Quebec, the OLG said.

Wednesday’s draw marks the seventh time this year that the Lotto 6/49 classic jackpot has been won.

Last week, a ticket purchased in Atlantic Canada won the prize in the March 26 draw.

Here is a look at the winning numbers for the most recent draw on Wednesday, April 2, according to the OLG website:
