The Hurricanes continued to ride a hot streak at home Wednesday, as they edged the Blades 2-1 in a game played at VisitLethbridge.com Arena.
After a scoreless first period in which the Hurricanes outshot Saskatoon 14-8, they took a 2-0 lead on goals from Miguel Marques and Chase Petersen.
For Petersen, it was his first WHL goal.
Ben Saunderson cut the Lethbridge lead in half heading into the third period, but that was as close as Saskatoon would get.
