Lethbridge police investigate Boxing Day death [Video]

Lethbridge police are investigating the suspicious death of a 13-year-old boy, whose body was found outside a business in the city’s south side on Dec. 26.

At about 2 p.m., officials were called to the 1600 block of Mayor Magrath Drive S. for reports of a body.

Emergency crews identified the victim as a 13-year-old boy from Lethbridge.

“Police are investigating the circumstances of the boy’s death and an autopsy has been scheduled for next week at the Medical Examiner’s Office in Calgary,” police said in a news release.

No further information is being released.
