Lethbridge police are searching for a cellphone they believe is linked to a homicide in the city in late December.
Police continue to investigate after a woman was found dead inside a ground floor room of a motel in the 2200 block of Seventh Avenue South.
The victim was identified as 34-year-old Christina Webber.
Police say a cellphone connected to the homicide may have been thrown into the bed of an unknown truck.
The truck was parked in a private lot belonging to the Henderson Estates condo complex in the 2200 block of Eighth Avenue South.
The parking lot is located on the west side of the property.
Anyone with a truck who parked in the lot between Dec. 26 and 28 is asked to check their truck bed.
If a cellphone is found, police say not to touch it and call 403-328-4444 immediately, referencing file number 24025352.
