Vianca Grullon isn’t even 2 years old, but now relies on feeding tubes and oxygen tanks to survive.

GREEN COVE SPRINGS, Fla — A little girl’s life was forever altered after a boating accident last year. According to a lawsuit, 18-month-old Vianca Grullon was riding in her family’s Sea-Doo Switch on Black Creek in August 2024 when it flipped, trapping her underwater causing a serious brain injury.

On Thursday a lawsuit was announced against the Bombardier Recreational Products, the Canadian company that makes the boat, and Jacksonville Power Sports, the local business that sold it. The family is now represented by the law firm Goldberg & Rosen out of Miami, Florida, and their attorney Judd Rosen said this accident was completely preventable.

“Instead of playing with barbie dolls or building small houses, she has oxygen tanks and feeding tubes,” said Rosen, while describing life for toddler Vianca Grullon.
