We’re in for a brisk start to the week, set to continue for the foreseeable future.

Environment Canada has issued a snow squall warning for the London London-Middlesex, Eastern Lambton and Southern Huron County.

Locally, there is the risk for heavy snowfall developing Tuesday night through Wednesday evening.

“Snow squalls are expected to develop tonight as we head through the late evening and overnight expecting a few snow squalls to set up,” said CTV London Meteorologist Julie Atchison.

She said we can expect 5 to 10 cm of snow accumulation.

“We’re also dealing with blowing snow, so road conditions have deteriorated,” said Atchison. “Factoring in that wind chill, it’s bitterly cold feeling like the minus teens.”
