A snow squall warning is in effect in through the Bruce Peninsula, northern Bruce County and the northern part of Grey County.
According to CTV News London Meteorologist Julie Atchison, snowfall amounts will be accumulating in those areas downwind of Lake Huron and Georgian Bay across the rest of the region.
“Flurries and bitterly cold temperatures have surged in in the wake of a cold front,” said Atchison “Wind chills as we move through the afternoon will continue to be a major factor feeling like minus 11 to minus 14 overnight.
Tuesday night, we could see some snowfall accumulate, but as we head through the next 24 hours, London, St. Thomas Woodstock, we’ll see some light snowfall Tuesday night, Atchison added.
“This squall looks to set up off Lake Huron and make its way into Middlesex County, which will lead to some accumulating snowfall,” she said.
