Londoners charged in Goderich theft [Video]

Two London residents have been arrested following a retail theft in Goderich on Tuesday.

Just before 8 p.m., Huron County OPP were called by a store, reporting a theft that took place. Officers were given the suspect description, as well as the suspect vehicle description.

Police were on patrol, when they saw the suspect vehicle parked on Huron Road in Seaforth. The vehicle was previously reported stolen from London. OPP also seized stolen items and a prohibited knife.

A 28-year-old and 35-year-old, both of London, are now facing several charges.

The 28-year-old man has been charged with two counts of theft under $5,000, possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 and unauthorized possession of a weapon.
