On the eve of the first Battle of Ontario playoff game, legendary Maple Leafs coach Pat Quinn summed up expectations with a little understatement: “It’ll be some fun, I hope.”

Over the course of four head-to-head playoff series over five years, it was a lot of fun for the Leafs, not so much for the Ottawa Senators.
