The Lotto 6/49 classic jackpot has been won in Canada.
The $5 million prize was split between two tickets, the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) indicates on its website.
That means each ticket won $2.5 million.
A $1 million gold ball draw prize was also won.

Looking ahead to Saturday’s draw, the gold ball jackpot sits at $26 million (or the $1 million prize), while the classic jackpot remains at its fixed $5 million, the OLG says. There will also once again be 25 guaranteed prizes of $10,000.
