‘Major delays’ expected as Taylor Bridge undergoes lengthy maintenance [Video]

TAYLOR –Starting later this month, the Taylor Bridge will undergo extensive maintenance leading to ‘major’ traffic delays.

DriveBC alerting motorists about the upcoming disruptions, which are set to begin on September 23 at 7:00 p.m. and continue until the early morning hours of October 12.

During this period, the bridge will operate with single-lane alternating traffic from 7:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. on weekdays, according to DriveBC.

Oversized loads are being advised to schedule routes accordingly in anticipation for delays, and will need to wait until after 3:00 a.m. to cross the bridge, as they will not be accommodated during the restricted hours.
