A major grocery store chain is planning to build a new location that it says is aimed at serving multiple Ontario municipalities.

Asian grocery retailer T&T Supermarket Inc. said that it will be opening a second location in Mississauga — with this one located at 3055 Vega Boulevard, which is in the Highway 403 and Dundas Street area, near the border with Oakville.

There is currently one T&T store in Mississauga at Grand Park Drive and Central Parkway West.

“We’ve been looking to serve the Oakville community for a while now, and we have finally found a great location that will do that and more,” said T&T Supermarket CEO Tina Lee.

“Right now, we have customers on the west end driving over 30 minutes to shop at our T&T at Central Parkway. With this new T&T, we’ll be able to serve not only Oakville, but also Milton, Burlington and beyond.”
