Over 90 per cent of business leaders are concerned about the upcoming wildfire season amid trade wars and a looming recession.
A survey released today by KPMG, a Canadian business advisory firm, found that most businesses nationwide are desperately factoring in climate disasters into their operations ahead of this summer.
Two-thirds of respondents even cited that they are now actively preparing for climate-related emergencies as part of their day-to-day strategies, as over the last few years, instances of wildfires and other climate disasters have shifted from a possibility to almost a certainty.
