Mall evacuated in Ontario city following robbery [Video]

Police say a busy Niagara-area mall is currently being evacuated.

Shortly after 2 p.m. on Jan. 16, Niagara police said officers are on scene at the Niagara Pen Centre, located on Glendale Ave. in St. Catharines, investigating a reported robbery.

The mall is being evacuated in response to the incident, according to police.

Residents are asked to avoid the area.

Police say new information will be shared as it becomes available.
