Man charged with murder in Sequoyah Co. double homicide faces third murder charge | News [Video]

UPDATE (8/7/24):

Stacy Drake has now been charged with a third count of first degree murder in connection to the June 14 murder of Phillip Emerson in Canadian County.

He is also facing two additional counts of robbery with a dangerous weapon for stealing Emerson’s vehicle and a wallet that belonged to Taylor Sharp who was a victim in the double homicide in Sequoyah County.

Drake is also charged with possession of a stolen vehicle and one count of pattern of criminal offenses.

“This man’s senseless and violent actions have affected people across this state,” said District 27 District Attorney Jack Thorp. “Those victims and their families deserve justice, and we will fight to see that justice done.”
