Man found dead in building in downtown Oakville, Ontario [Video]

Halton Regional Police are investigating a suspicious death in Oakville after a man was found deceased inside a building in the downtown area Saturday evening.

According to the Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS), officers were called to a location near Lakeshore Road East and Navy Street at approximately 5:30 p.m. on March 22, 2025. Upon arrival, police discovered the body of an adult male inside a building. The nature of the circumstances led investigators to deem the death suspicious.

The HRPS Major Crime Bureau has taken over the investigation and is currently working to determine the cause and timeline of events leading up to the man’s death. At this time, police have not released the identity of the deceased and have not provided details on how the man may have died.
