Man Hears Huge Bang Outside, Finds Giant Object Has Fallen From Sky [Video]

A post about a mysterious “giant block of ice” that reportedly fell from the sky in a residential neighborhood in Pennsylvania has gone viral on Reddit.

Posted on April 14 by Matt Clark (u/bedhead215), the thread titled “My brother witnessed this giant block of ice fall from the sky,” has garnered more than 17,000 upvotes.

The image accompanying the post shows a large shard of ice resting on a patch of grass in Morton, just outside Philadelphia.

The incident occurred at around 3:30 p.m. ET, according to Clark, who said his brother Zach witnessed the phenomenon firsthand.

“My brother was outside with the dog when he heard what he thought was a low flying helicopter. Next thing he knew, a huge crash noise. He then realized it was the ice that fell from the sky in the next door neighbor’s front yard,” Clark told Newsweek. The poster suspects the ice fell off an aircraft flying by.
