Police are on a Canada-wide hunt for a federal repeat offender who breached his release conditions and could be in Mississauga, Toronto, Whitby or elsewhere in the Greater Toronto Area.

Adrian Green, 36, who’s serving a prison sentence of just over six years for firearm, drug trafficking and other offences, is on the run after “a breach of his statutory release,” Ontario Provincial Police said Thursday afternoon.

The OPP’s Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement squad is asking for the public’s help in tracking down Green. The ROPE squad works to find and catch parolees who are unlawfully at large in Ontario.

OPP said in a news release Green is known to frequent Mississauga, Toronto, Whitby and other places in the GTA.
