Man wanted on Canada-wide warrant could be in the GTA [Video]

Police in Canada engaged in a nationwide manhunt are looking for a man who is known to heavily frequent the Greater Toronto Area.

According to the provincial Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (ROPE) squad, 52-year-old Leslie Kurucz is currently on the run from several branches of Canadian law enforcement.

Reports indicate that Kurucz is currently supposed to be serving a two-year sentence for a break-and-enter case as well as assaulting a police officer.

Police describe Kurucz as a white male, 5’8”, 160 with brown hair and brown eyes.

Kurucz is known to frequent several locations across the GTA.

Anyone with information on potential whereabouts is being asked to contact the provincial ROPE squad’s main office or send an anonymous tip to Crime Stoppers.
