A fatal house fire in the RM of North Norfolk is under investigation by Manitoba RCMP.
Officers from the Portage la Prairie detachment were called to the fire Tuesday evening at a home located off of Provincial Road 352 west of Highway 34.
The local fire department extinguished the blaze, and once the fire was under control, entered the home and found the remains of a deceased person inside.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
