Wednesday is expected to be chilly but mild in the Greater Toronto Area before warmer weather hits southern Ontario later this week.

Environment Canada says there’s no snow in the forecast but to expect cloudy skies in Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Hamilton and across the GTA on Wednesday with winds blowing around 20 km/h and gusting up to 40 km/h in some areas.

The daytime high will be around 1 C but will feel more like -10 C with the wind chill, the agency says.

Oshawa and parts of Durham Region could see the mercury drop even further to around -13 C with the wind chill.

Into the evening there will be partly cloudy skies and light winds with an overnight low of -2 C.

But warmer temperatures should return on Thursdaywith a mix of sun and cloud expected in Mississauga with a high of 7 C and up to 12 C on Friday in some parts …
