Grab a coat, gloves and maybe a hot drink. While sunshine is in the forecast, it won’t do much to fend off the deep chill expected to set in across southern Ontario.

The morning sky will not deliver much of a sunrise for those hoping to catch Sunday’s 6:50 a.m. view, bringing cloudy conditions.

The day will begin with a 40 to 60 per cent chance of flurries, which is anticipated to carry into the afternoon.

Windchills will hit -25 C in Mississauga and Brampton, while Halton and Hamilton will feel like -23 C. Durham Region be much cooler at -27 C.

Brisk winds are also in the forecast, with speeds reaching up to 40 km/h.
