You can expect periods of snow or rain throughout the day across the Greater Toronto Area and southern Ontario.

Environment Canada says Tuesday is expected to start with a 60 per cent chance of flurries or rain showers in Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Oshawa and Durham Region.

Temperatures will be slightly below seasonal normals of around 7 C with a daytime high of around 5 C in the GTA, the agency says.

Hamilton could be a bit dryer in the morning with a 30 per cent chance of rain or flurries.

Into the evening there’s more precipitation on the way with a 60 per cent chance of flurries or rain in Toronto, Mississauga and Brampton, with an overnight low of around -4 C that will feel more like -8 C with the wind chill.
