There’s a risk of freezing rain with snow and ice pellets expected across southern Ontario ahead of up to 25 mm of rainfall on Tuesday.
Environment Canada says to expect a chilly start to the day with a 30 percent chance of flurries or ice pellets early in the morning along with a risk of freezing rain in Mississauga, Brampton, Toronto, and Hamilton.
Moving into the afternoon there’s a 40 percent chance of rain with a daytime high of around 5 C.
But the evening could see the start of a deluge with up to 2o mm of rain possible in the GTA, the agency says.
