A Japanese clothing retailer is set to to open new stores in Canada.

Uniqlo said it will be opening four new locations — two in Ontario and two in Quebec — before the Fall, bringing their total number of stores in Canada to 33.

“We are very grateful to our patrons in Canada and look forward to fostering more meaningful relationships with new customers,” said Yuya Tanahashi, the chief operating officer of Uniqlo in Canada.

“I am optimistic about our Canadian growth.”

In Ontario, the new stores will be located at Union Station in Toronto and Maple View Shopping Centre in Burlington.

In Quebec, they will le located at Galeries d’Anjou in Montreal and Place Ste-Foy in Quebec City.

They’re set to open in the spring or summer.

Uniqlo has more than 2,500 stores worldwide.

The first location opened in Hiroshima in 1984.
