Anyone flying out of Toronto Pearson Airport in Mississauga on Saturday might want to double-check their flight status and allow extra travel time.

Heavy snowfall has already begun, as predicted by Environment Canada, causing some delays and cancellations with the potential for more disruptions as the day progresses.
In a social media post shortly after 10:30 a.m., Pearson Airport warned of possible travel interruptions as heavy snowfall moves into the region.
“It’s a busy Saturday with more than 128,000 travellers on board around 930 flights,” the airport said, adding that they are “actively monitoring the forecast.”
At 1 p.m., Pearson Airport posted an update to social media advising travellers to check their flight status before making their way to the airport.
