A massive lottery jackpot could be won in Canada on Friday.

The Lotto Max jackpot stands at $80 million, which is the lottery game’s cap, the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation says.

The last time it was that big was on Dec. 3, 2024. In that draw, the $80 million prize won by two tickets, one in Alberta and another in Quebec.

An $80 million prize was only won one other time. On Sept. 17, 2024, two winning tickets again split the prize, with one sold in Owen Sound and the other in Quebec.

Friday’s draw will also have an estimated 14 $1 million maxmillion prizes, the OLG said.

That adds up to a total of $94 million in top prizing.

Meanwhile, earlier this week a ticket sold in Ontario won the $60 million Lotto 6/49 gold ball jackpot.
