Temperatures will be warm but you can expect some rain and scattered showers across the Greater Toronto Area and southern Ontario on Tuesday.

Environment Canada says skies are expected to be cloudy in the morning on Tuesday before a chance of rain in the afternoon.

There’s a 30 per cent chance of showers in Toronto, Oshawa and the Durham Region, jumping up to a 40 per cent chance in Mississauga, Brampton, Hamilton and the Niagara Falls area.

Daytime highs will be around 17 C in Hamilton and could reach as high as 20 C in Mississauga and Brampton, the weather agency says.

The UV index will be “high” throughout the day at a level of 6 or 7.

Into the evening, there’s more rain in the forecast with a 30 per cent chance of showers across the GTA and an overnight low of around 13 C in Mississauga.
