May 22 weather: Rainfall up to 20 mm in parts of southern Ontario [Video]

There’s more rain in the forecast with up to 20 mm possible in parts of the Greater Toronto Area and southern Ontario.

Environment Canada says Thursday morning will see periods of rain in the GTA, with between 10 mm to 15 mm expected in Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, and Oshawa.

Hamilton and the Niagara Falls area are expected to see between 5 mm to 10 mm of rain throughout the day.

The temperature is expected to be well below seasonal normals with a daytime high around 11 C in Mississauga.

Into the evening, there’s more rain expected in Mississauga, Brampton and Toronto with another 5 mm in the forecast.

And the next few days could bring in more unseasonable temperatures, the weather agency says.
