If last week’s rain wasn’t enough, get ready for another round of turbulent weather bringing mild temperatures and possible thunderstorms to southern Ontario.
Early risers hoping to catch a glimpse of the sunrise at 5:40 a.m. on Sunday may be out of luck, with cloudy skies expected to block the view.
Mississauga, Brampton, Halton and Durham will be mainly cloudy with a 40 per cent chance of rain. Thunderstorms are possible in the afternoon, and winds will pick up to 20 km/h. Daytime highs will reach 17 C, with a UV index between 5 and 6. Environment Canada advises wearing sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat if heading outdoors between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Hamilton will experience similar conditions, though its high is slightly warmer at 18 C.
Thunderstorms may return late afternoon with breezy conditions throughout.
