After a grey and breezy start, unsettled weather is expected to move into southern Ontario, bringing periods of rain.

For those hoping to catch Sunday’s 6:03 a.m. sunrise may be in for a letdown, as overcast skies are expected to obscure the view.

Mississauga, Brampton and Halton will start with a mix of sun and clouds, with rain developing by early afternoon. Durham will see similar conditions, though the rain may hold off until later in the day. Hamilton will remain overcast throughout the morning, with rain expected by late morning.

Daytime highs will reach 16 C in Mississauga, Brampton and Halton, 18 C in Durham and 11 C in Hamilton. Wind speeds will pick up between 40 and 50 km/h across the region.
