President John Dramani Mahama‘s commitment to fostering an inclusive and balanced government appears on track, as his recent approval of the appointments to the Office of the Vice President include six women, among the 10 individuals named.

The newly-appointed staff are expected to bring their wealth of experiences and expertise to their respective roles and contribute significantly to the government’s agenda in developing the country.

Here are brief profiles of the six women appointed as staff of the vice president:

1. Alberta Graham

Graham will assume her new role as the Head of Administration at the Office of the Vice President. She is a Deputy Registrar and the Director at the Directorate of Consular and General Services (DLCGS).
