BANGOR, Maine (WABI) – The nor’easter continues to lift across parts of Downeast Maine as it moves into New Brunswick. Rain showers will continue overnight with some of the heaviest rainfall expected north of the Bangor region. Higher elevations will continue to see the potential for snow. Overnight lows will range from the mid 30s to the mid 40s. Winds will continue to weaken.

We will still feel some of the effects of that exiting storm into the weekend. This will make it our now 9th weekend in a row for the Bangor region where we will see measurable rainfall. Saturday will be the wettest day as the low will sit in New Brunswick and will wrap in clouds and broken showers across the region. Temperature wise it will still be cool but an improvement on today as highs will range from the upper 40s to the mid 50s.
