MID-MICHIGAN (WJRT) – An arctic cold snap gripping Mid-Michigan will give many students and teachers an extra day off Tuesday.

The coldest air this week is forecast on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings. Actual air temperatures are expected to fall below zero across Mid-Michigan and wind chill will make it feel like -15 to -25 degrees in many areas.
