Midland County deputies bust man for having over 14 grams of Fentanyl [Video]

MIDLAND, Texas — A man was arrested Thursday after the Midland County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) found over 14 grams of Fentanyl in his car during a traffic stop, according to an arrest affidavit obtained by NewsWest 9.

The Midland County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit was conducting surveillance in an unknown area of Midland and observed one GMC Yukon in front of a residence. Then, MCSO saw a woman exit the residence and get into the passenger’s side of the vehicle.

After the vehicle left the residence, deputies followed the driver and were contacted to conduct a traffic stop on the GMC Yukon.

The affidavit states MCSO continued to follow the vehicle onto State Highway 191 going westbound. That is when deputies observed the GMC Yukon to have defective equipment that included …
