Midweek warm-up before cooler air takes over [Video]

WEDNESDAY: Not as cool to start our Wednesday morning. Lows dropped to 40s to 50s. A cold front will push in from the northwest, bringing strong gusts to around 30 mph and cool air from Canada down into our region during the middle of the day. As a result, temperatures will be cooler where the front sweeps through first. Highs will range from 60 to 70 north and 70 to 80 south. Winds will increase behind the front, with southerly winds switching northwest and gusts surpassing 30 mph for a few hours during the afternoon. More sunshine through the day in the south, with more clouds north. A sprinkle or two can’t be ruled out closer to the border.
