Nicole Wylie was last seen in the area of Woodward Avenue in Hamilton on April 21, 2025, around 7 p.m., the Hamilton Police Service says.

Police in Hamilton have confirmed that a woman reported missing earlier this week has been found dead in southern Ontario.

On Thursday, the Hamilton Police Service said officers had “intensified” the search for Nicole Wylie – a woman last seen in the area of Woodward Avenue in Hamilton on Monday around 7 p.m.

Police had asked members of the public to watch for Wylie or her vehicle while visiting recreational areas, public parking lots, conservation lands, and remote trail access points throughout southern and central Ontario.

But on Friday, police confirmed that Wylie had been found deceased in St.Catharines. Police have not said whether the death is being considered suspicious.
