Mix of snow, clouds and cold temperatures in store for Ontario this week [Video]

A cold and unsettled week lies ahead for southern Ontario, with on-and-off snow and chilly temperatures. However, occasional sunny breaks may help brighten the day.

As of today (Feb. 9), the skies will be overcast with light flurries, which are expected to end by late morning.

The morning will feel brisk with wind chills ranging from -8 C to -10 C. By midday, a 60 per cent chance of snow returns, accompanied by gusty 40 km/h winds.

Daytime highs will gradually rise, reaching 1 degree, though the wind will keep conditions feeling cooler.

By evening, cloudy skies persist with a 60 per cent chance of snow. Winds will remain brisk at 40 km/h before settling down near midnight.

Overnight, temperatures will fall to minus 10, with wind chills making it feel closer to -15 C to -17 …
