Police did not release the man’s name, but did reveal he was 27-years-old and was pronounced dead in a Regina hospital on Saturday.

Emergency crews in Moose Jaw were called to a fire at Capone’s Hideaway Motel shortly after 11 p.m. on Friday.

Crews were able to contain and extinguish the blaze during the overnight hours.

No other injuries stemming from the fire were reported by police.
