OVERNIGHT – SUNDAY:A cold front brought a line of thunderstorms into our region throughout Saturday afternoon and evening. Some were strong enough to warrant severe thunderstorm warnings, with large hail and gusts up to 60 mph. Luckily, the storms and rain moved out of our region after midnight, leaving a mix of Sun and clouds, as well as morning lows in the upper-40s to low-50s, for Sunday morning. Then on Sunday afternoon, a few isolated showers make their way from Canada down into our region, as wrap-around moisture from a Canadian low moves south. More showers slide in from the north late Sunday evening, and it’s not until early morning that the rain moves out of our region. By that time, rainfall totals will be around 0.25″ to 0.5″ across our region, which may not seem like much but does mean a dreary end to the weekend. Aside from the rain, we’re …
