Southern Ontario is set to be hit by a major winter storm on Wednesday into Thursday, but it appears that won’t be the end of the messy wintry weather this week.

The Weather Network is forecasting 10 cm of snow on both Saturday and Sunday for the Toronto area, as well as in Barrie.

Elsewhere in southern Ontario, snow is also in the forecast, with forecasted amounts varying in some cases.

Hamilton is expected to see 10 to 15 cm on Saturday, with around 10 cm on Sunday, The Weather Network says.

Niagara Falls could see 10 to 15 cm on Saturday and 15 cm on Sunday.

In Kingston and Ottawa, up to 30 cm is being forecasted over those two days.

Meanwhile, southern Ontario is preparing for a large storm that’s set to begin on Wednesday and could dump up to 40 cm of snow in some locations.
