Winter isn’t quite finished yet in southern Ontario.
A blast of warm weather brought 20 C temperatures to the GTA on Thursday but winter returns next week.
The sunshine continues Friday with a high of 12 C. Rain and cloudy skies are expected to dominate on the weekend. A high of 13 C is expected on Saturday and 8 C on Sunday.
Next week, colder weather moves in with a high of 3 C on Monday and only 1 C on Tuesday, according to Environment and Climate Change Canada.
Snow or rain could fall Monday afternoon in Mississauga, Brampton, Toronto, Halton Region, Niagara Region, Hamilton and Durham Region.
Around two to four cm of snow could fall on Monday night, according to the Weather Network. The temperature could drop down to -5 C.
There is also a chance of flurries on Tuesday, according to Environment Canada.
The snow won’t likely stick around as warmer weather is expected for the rest of the week.
