ONTARIO, Ore. — Fire crews from seven departments worked through the night on Saturday to contain a blaze that started in a shed and spread to multiple structures and wildland areas.
Ontario Fire & Rescue said it was dispatched around 9:22 p.m. May 31 to 4406 Sage Road after reports of a shed fire threatening other structures.
According to Chief Benson, Rescue One arrived with a two-person crew and immediately called for additional resources after finding multiple structures on fire and extending into the surrounding wildland. Weather conditions caused the fire to spread rapidly, but crews successfully protected the main residence and other valuable assets.
No injuries to people or pets were reported.
