Katelyn Lehner, who grew up in Prince Albert, is a trained classical vocalist, and previous Team Canada Track and Field athlete, she’s now using these learned skills to propel herself in the Canadian Country music scene.

The last two years have been monumental for the new artist, gaining traction across Western Canada, with festival performances at Country Thunder Saskatchewan and Alberta, the Calgary Stampede, and headlining her first festivals. Lehner has also opened shows for Dean Brody, George Canyon, Lindsay Ell, Blue Rodeo and more.

After multiple trips to Nashville, Katelyn is excited to be working towards her next project.

Katelyn is our special guest on the Saskatchewan Country Closeup. We talk about her new song “Something I’d Like”, her new music video and how quickly the dance number was learned, and we’ll also get to know Katelyn a little more, with the lightning round.
