N.B. news: Fatal crash in Moncton Sunday night [Video]

The New Brunswick RCMP says two people died in hospital following a multi-vehicle crash in Moncton Sunday night.

Codiac Regional RCMP, along with firefighters and paramedics, responded to a three-vehicle crash on Highway 15 near the Dieppe Boulevard overpass around 5:28 p.m.

“We were told multiple vehicles, multiple injuries,” said Moncton Fire Deputy Chief Keith Guptill.

Police say the driver of the first vehicle, a 32-year-old woman from Moncton, N.B., was taken to hospital where she later died. The two passengers in her vehicle were taken to hospital with what police believed to be minor injuries.
