A 54-year-old Nova Scotia man is facing nearly 50 charges for alleged offences he committed over three days in and around the Yarmouth and Shelburne counties.

RCMP says Steven Goreham threatened an occupant at a Clark’s Harbour home on Jan. 4 and 5. At the time, Goreham had an active arrest warrant and was on conditions not to go to the residence.

On Monday, police responded to a reported break and enter at the home. Officers tried to find Goreham for several days.

Police responded to another residential break-in allegedly involving Goreham in Lower Ohio, N.S., around 3:30 a.m. Thursday. Officers also learned Goreham, who had a firearm with him, had allegedly stolen a vehicle.

RCMP found the vehicle parked outside a building near Barrington. Goreham exited the building and pointed a firearm at an officer before fleeing in the vehicle on Highway 103 to Yarmouth.
