Nova Scotia singer Burry mines new material from their life and their latest single explores a major milestone for them.

“(‘Our Home’) I wrote about my wife and kind of, like, growing old with your person,” Burry told CTV News Atlantic’s Katie Kelly. “I’ve never really felt at home or, like, in a stable place, and she just provides that home and that stable place for me…no matter where we are in the world.”

The music video for “Our Home” features footage from Burry’s wedding last May.

“We brought my videographer with us to Portugal where we eloped and we filmed the entire trip,” Burry said. “It’s so special to be able to not only have a wedding video but to be the visuals for this song that I wrote about my wife.”

“Our Home” was Burry’s first single for their upcoming album; their second single, “I Don’t Miss You,” tackles a different kind …
