I WAS BORN AND RAISED IN CHEROKEE COUNTY, WHICH WAS JUST WEST OF WHERE THE IMPACTED AREAS WERE, AND SO BEING ABLE TO SEE THE DEVASTATION BEING REPORTED AND KNOWING THE AREAS THAT THAT WAS IMPACTING HIT HOME FOR ME AND I FELT LIKE I HAD TO DO SOMETHING. THE DEPARTMENT DECIDED TO SPONSOR A DISASTER RELIEF SUPPLY DRIVE. ABINGTON POLICE ASKED THE COMMUNITY FOR DONATIONS ONE WEEK AGO, AND THIS IS HOW THE COMMUNITY RESPONDED.
