Bowmanville residents will get a chance to see plans for three upcoming residential developments – including an apartment/townhouse project with nearly a thousand units – at a Clarington Planning and Development Committee public meeting April 14.

Modo Bowmanville Urban Towns and Modo Bowmanville Towns have submitted applications for four buildings ranging from nine storeys to 12 storeys containing 906 apartments, and 74 three-floor townhouse units at 2050, 2078, 2098 Green Road & 279 Boswell Drive.

The total site area is nearly four hectares.

Other projects on the docket on April 14 include a three-storey, seven-unit apartment building and a five-lot project, with both proposals on Liberty St. N.

Residents can attend the meeting in-person, starting at 6:30 p.m., or watch the livestream at www.clarington.net/calendar.
