New airline travel routes added to Pearson Airport in Mississauga, Ontario [Video]

As temperatures drop and the air turns brisk, you might find yourself dreaming of a getaway to sunnier destinations.

If you’re worried about flights booking up fast, there’s good news—more routes are being added to Pearson Airport in Mississauga to meet growing travel demand. Here’s a look at some of the new routes launching this fall and winter:

Porter Airlines to Thunder Bay

Porter Airlines is set to introduce a new route between Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) and Thunder Bay International Airport (YQT) using its Embraer E195-E2 aircraft. Flights will operate three times weekly, starting on Oct. 16.

According to flyporter.com, Porter has been serving the Thunder Bay community since 2009, currently offering up to five daily roundtrip flights from Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport and twice daily flights to Ottawa using the 78-seat Dash 8-400 aircraft.
